William the Watchmaker was boring in Bolton in 1835, and was working in Baldwin Street in 1858, and by 1861 he had moved to number 41 Cheapside (Newport Street).
He had an apprentice Joshua Sisson in 1861, and in 1868 moved out the shop to be replaced by Samuel Greenough.
