Arthur Lemon was a Watch Maker who lived in Bolton in the 1830’s, and raised his family there. Born In Liverpool in 1794, he eventually moved to Chamber St Whitechapel London where he died in Whitechapel in 1861.
His name has been anglicised from Asher, he is from German ancestry, from his father Isaiah Lemon.
Solomon, his brother, is recorded as Samuel also in Bolton at the same time.
