There is at least one clock known to be signed ‘Knowles and Bridge, Bolton’, and this 18th Century clock is believed to be a collaboration between Thomas Bridge and Andrew Knowles.

An oak longcase clock, the square brass 28cm dial with crown and sprawling boys spandrels, Roman chapter ring, the matted centre with leaf framed calendar aperture, inscribed ‘Tho. Bridge & Andrew Knowles’, eight day movement, striking on a bell, the square hood with vine carved frieze and freestanding pillars, arched door with lenticle to trunk, 200cm high.
