George Albert Cary (1881-1935)

George Albert Cary son of George Cary was born in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales in 1860 and moved to Bolton by 1869 where his sister was born. 

Whilst living at 80 Market Street in Farnworth, he became an apprentice Watchmaker to his Father, who was employing two men.

Following the death of his father George Albert carried on the family business of Jeweller and Watchmaker.

In 1895 he was shown as trading from 125-127 Market Street in Farnworth

George Albert Cary died in Bolton in 1935.

None of his other brothers followed him into the trade.
