Samuel Wolfenden is a manufacturer and retailer of watches, based at 44 Bradshawgate. Wolfenden also sold watched by Charles Huton Errington of Coventry (CHE).
Samuel Wolfenden, was a member of St John’s Lodge Freemasons, he also made the the solid silver Freedom caskets presented by the town.
A Victorian silver cased topwind pocket watch by S. Wolfenden, Bolton, the enamel dial with subsidiary seconds dial, the case hallmarked Chester 1898, maker The Lancashire Watch Co. Ltd.
