Richard Makin born in Darcy Lever in 1878 he is listed as a Watchmaker Journeyman in 1910, and a Watchmaker, of 45 Norris Street, Little Lever, (1905) and of 71 Lever Street, Little Lever (1911).
He married Jane Hargreaves Scholes of the One Horse Shoe Little Lever, and they had a son.
Richard Died in 1944 after apparently moving to the Fylde Coast.
There are no known examples of his work.
