Born in 1856, John Henry Daniels was a Watchmaker and Jeweller by 1881, he lived in 111 Derby Street, when in 1882 he married his wife, Theresa, and they continued to live and work in the family home.
He was still recorded there in an 1895 trade directory.
John died aged 74 in early 1931.
