Isaac Frankenthall (1909)

Isaac Frankenthall, (aka. Franks) was a watchmaker of Newport Street in Bolton, he was found guilty for Pawning five watches which had been given to him to repair.

Reported in the Manchester Currier and Lancashire General Advertiser 5th Aug 1909.

Isaac Frankenthall also used the name Isaac Franks, and he moved to Ireland, before moving to London.

Isaac had a Watchmakers Shop at Red Lion’s Square, London

Sadly Isaac commuted several more crimes on his journey, and received several more sentences, culminating in 12 Months Hard Labour at Pentonville Prison.

Isaac seems to have sailed beneath most official records so tracing him is all but impossible, however he is described thus in the newspapers of the time.
