Henry Lever was listed as an engraver, and would be responsible for the intricate work on the brass clock faces and watch movements made in the town at the time.
On 25th May 1794 he was married at the Parish Church to Susannah Aspinall, with clockmaker James Butler a witness at the wedding.
He died in August 1832 aged 96.
