Ernest Lee (1883-1960) son of William Lee (1860-1942) was a member of the Lee Family of Watch and Clock makers in the town.
living firstly with his family he married Esther Ellen Holden and lived at 32 Gibraltar Street.
Ernest was an apprentice watch maker with his father, and then as a watchmaker in his own right.
He set up his own business at 147 Deane Road Bolton by 1939.
