Bernerd Preston (not Bernard) is listed during 1861-1901 at 34 St. Helens Road is listed as a Watchmaker and Jeweller, and also in the 1876 Post Office Directory of Bolton.
He died in 1909 and is Buried in St Mary’s Deane. He is listed as a Watchmaker in the Probate Records.
