Albert Thomas Giles (1881 – 1891)

Albert Thomas Giles, from Plymouth was a watch and Clockmaker who made at least one Longcase Clock. He lived at The Saddle Inn at 38 Bradshawgate in 1881.

Possibly related to Alfred Giles from Plymouth, also a boarder at the saddle but in decade 1891

A Georgian oak and mahogany longcase clock, the trunk door inlaid with crest “Natale, Solum, Doke”, painted arched Roman dial signed A.T.Giles, Bolton, with subsidiary seconds, 8-day striking movement.
