Thomas Seed (1870-1871)

Thomas Seed a cousin of Jeremiah Smith was a clockmaker at 133 Derby Street in Bolton in 1871.

Born in Hurst Green and working with Jeremiah Smith, he fell foul of the authorities for selling plate without a license when he sold one of Smiths watches. Smith took the main blame, but Seed was also prosecuted.
