James Walch of Astley Bridge was a watchmaker, who was born on December 10th 1894. By 1911 he was a watchmakers apprentice, although it isn’t clear who he was apprenticed to.
At the time of his marriage to he was described as a Watchmaker.
In 1939 James and his wife lived at 38 Poplar Avenue in Astley Bridge.
In 1967 they lived at 26 Verdure Avenue, Heaton, and James died on June 1st 1975.
It is not known where he traded from.
