Alfonza (sometimes incorrectly listed as Alfonzo in records) was the son of Samuel Greenhough, and brother of George, a watchmaker working for his father. He lived in Astley Bridge as a child.
He worked at 43 Newport Street when he married on 26th May 1875.
He married Hannah Holden and they had a son Albert Holden Greenough in 1879. the family lived at 116 Clarence Street, in Bolton.
He is believed to have died about 1899
There are no known examples of his work.
