Adam Preston was born in Atherton in January 1855, and started work as a fitter and Nutmaker, he was listed as a watchmaker and Jeweller trading at 39 Market Street, in Atherton by the Slater’s Directory for Chowbent, Atherton and Neighbourhoods in 1890.
Adam Wass till there in 1909 where he was listed as a Watch maker & furniture dealer.
Adam died on 7th March 1915 in Atherton.
There are no known examples of of his work.
