William Stewart Jones was a watch and clockmaker based at Number 91 Weston Street, in 1869 and 2 Knowsley Street in 1873. He also carried on the trade of a Goldsmith, Jeweller and Silversmith.
In 1870 he faced the magistrates for selling plate without a license.

He lived at 141 Clarence Street, in Little Bolton.
