Samuel Bamber Watchmaker,
In 1841 he was listed as an Apprentice at Ridgeway Gates, with Edward Abel, Robert Norman and James Berrington.
He was working at Bradshawgate in 1848 and then left Bolton for Blackpool in 1857 where he started a family with Hannah Barker.
In Blackpool he is listed as a Watchmaker and a Jeweller, as well as being a member of the Freemason’s Clifton Lodge.
A 19th Century English Skeleton Clock, with brass fusee movement having a pierced and shield chapter ring with black enamelled Roman numerals and a bell strike at the top. Engraved below the bell above chapter ring “Bamber Blackpool” for Samuel Bamber.
