Randolph Farnworth (1891 – 1913)

Randolph the son of Thomas Farnworth a Master Watchmaker in Standishgate, Wigan. Randolph was born in Horwich and like his father became a watchmaker. Randolph was based in Winter Hey Lane, Horwich.

Randolph married, and his wife also became a jeweller, he died in 1913.

The dates listed are the census details where he was listed as trading as a watchmaker, although trading in Horwich his home was mainly in Wigan.

His brothers Walter, Albert and Fredrick were also apprenticed to be watchmakers. Fredrick achieved the aim and the other two remained in the Jewellery trade.

A 1901 silver pocket watch by Farnworth & Sons watch, that may have been the work of Randolph or one of his brothers.
